Colorful Nails Take Center Stage for Spring

A popular trend among many teenage girls is getting acrylic nails done. With spring just around the corner, all the girls are getting excited to do more fun and creative designs with all different colors for spring.

With the passing of the Holiday of St. Patrick’s Day, some people even got special green nails. While green is not really the go to nail color for most people, and it might not match a lot of peoples outfits, this did not stop senior Avery Tafuto from wanting to have these special nails on this holiday.

“I was feeling very festive,” said Tafuto. “Even if my clothes weren’t going to be festive, I wanted my hands to be.”

Tafuto was not afraid to be bold and go with something a little different from most of the usual trends in order to stand out amongst the crowd and have the best manicured hands for St. Patrick’s day.

Another eye-catching nail set that some people like to go with is getting all of their nails done a different color and in an interesting pattern. The nail site of Huella Beauty posted a nail design on Pinterest of each finger being painted a different color with a lighter shade of one color in the bottom left corner of the nail and a darker shade of one color in the top right corner of the nail. A classic design that represents all of the colors that go along with the spring season to come. Also often a popular nail design to get done around the holiday of Easter, as there are usually many colored eggs and baskets for this holiday.

While some people prefer vivid nail sets, others prefer to stick to more traditional spring designs. Some will go with the colors of, pink, or a pretty sky blue. Inspired by a pretty picture on pinterest, nail enthusiast Grace Zinko decided that she wanted to get a pink set of nails for the spring season because pink is one of her favorite colors.

“I really like the color pink,” said Zinko. “I thought it would add a nice pop of color to a lot of my outfits too.”

A classic nail design among many teenage girls is a sky blue French tip nail. Nail aficionado Natalie Muharem currently loves her sky blue nails, and thinks that they fit the theme of spring very well. With the sky becoming ever lighter and blue matching many outfits, this is sure to be a popular nail design this spring among many people who get their nails done.

So whether you’re going for a bolder look and getting a unique design specifically for a holiday, or just going for a classic spring color that’s sure to enhance your outfits, it is no doubt that many people in the Woodland community will be getting their nails done a beautiful design this spring.
