Taco Bell:: Live Mas

Taco Bell is kicking off 2025 with a massive menu expansion, and fans have a lot to be excited about. At their annual Live Más Live event in New York City, the fast-food giant unveiled 30 new menu items, including bold flavors, nostalgic comebacks, and wild new twists on fan favorites.

One of the biggest announcements was the introduction of three new signature sauces. The Weak Knees Fire Sauce blends Taco Bell’s classic Fire Sauce with Bushwick Kitchen’s Gochujang Sriracha for a smoky, complex kick. The Zab’s Hot Ranch takes their Spicy Ranch up a notch with Datil Pepper heat, creating a creamy sauce that builds over time. But the real showstopper is the Purple Chile Sauce, a fiery mix of Ají Panca, Habanero, and Ghost Pepper so intense that customers actually have to sign a waiver before trying it.

The menu also features some creative new items. The Crispy Fajitas take a classic mix of bell peppers, onions, and jalapeños and coat them in tempura batter for a crispy twist, served with white habanero ranch dip. The Mexican Pizza Empanada transforms the beloved Mexican Pizza into a flaky, handheld snack. Meanwhile, the Short Rib Chile Relleno Burrito wraps a stuffed Anaheim chile with melted cheese and slow-roasted short rib inside a soft tortilla. Other highlights include the Brisket Taco, packed with slow-roasted brisket, shredded cheese, and crunchy purple cabbage.

Taco Bell is also bringing back some fan-favorite items. The Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco is finally making its return, along with the Double Decker Taco and the Mini Taco Salad. Dessert and drink lovers aren’t left out either Taco Bell is teaming up with Milk Bar to launch Milk Bar Birthday Cake Churros, and they’re also debuting the Mountain Dew Baja Midnight, a passion fruit twist on the classic Baja Blast.

Local Taco Bell fans are already buzzing about the new lineup.

“The new Taco Bell menu is something I’m looking forward to because I really enjoy trying new things. It also gives some variety to their menu, which I think lacked before. I can’t wait to try the Midnight Baja Blast,” said Senior Nico Salvitore.

“Very excited to try all the new items, and I think they presented their menu very well. I really, really can’t wait,” said Sophomore Mason Menzies.

Others are especially excited about specific items.

“I am excited for more toppings, which add extra flavor, and I am also very excited for the Cool Ranch Taco,” said Senior Joe Perun.

Meanwhile, Junior David Gega is ready to dive in right away

“I might go this afternoon to try the Steak Queso Crunchwrap, and I am also very excited for the new Baja Blast Midnight drink.”

With all these new flavors, comebacks, and collaborations, 2025 is shaping up to be a big year for Taco Bell. Whether you’re into spice, nostalgia, or just something new, there’s a lot to look forward to. Get ready to Live Más!
