Remember standing in line at the school flower sale, clutching your wrinkled dollar, waiting to pick out the perfect rose for your mom? Junior Colby Sizer does.
“I remember the days where my dad would take me to get flowers at the Mothers Day sale in elementary school. The roses would be in plastic bags, and always managed to be broken or falling apart,” recalled Sizer. “I remember someone’s grandpa would always bring different activities, such as a flower coloring sheet. It was blank to make it whatever color or flower you wanted, and I would color it red to make it a rose.”
While these memories of Mothers Day may make you feel nostalgic, those days don’t end in elementary school, but are still continuing at Woodland thanks to Meghan Geary and Woodland Worldwide.
