“I can’t believe we’re going to be seniors,” said Molly Mays.
As the year is coming to an end, the Juniors class can agree that it has definitely been a year filled with mixed emotions.
Between getting your license and having the first feeling of freedom, while constantly hanging out with friends and family, sometimes it felt like a battle trying to balance out school work, late nights with sports, or the weight of college decisions.
“It’s a very busy year, but it’s not as bad as everyone says,” said Avery Deitelbaum.
It’s a year filled with responsibilities, and opportunities. Juniors get the opportunity to take NGSS tests, for a chance to get out of their science final: whether it’s a chemistry class or an elective like Forensic Science, any science class counts. While trying to do this, they also have to juggle the stress from AP classes, SAT scores, and their senior schedules; so it can sometimes be hard for Juniors to make sure every part of their life is on track.
Junior year is also the year when you come to the realization that you’re almost done with high school. With only one year left, the day you thought was a lifetime away is now so close. Nobody believed time would really pass this quickly.
“I can’t comprehend that I’ll be a senior in a week,” said Sophia DeGennaro.
